A badly injured Japanese businessman abducted by his compatriots has been rescued by Thai police during a raid on an apartment room in Bangkok’s Wattana district. Three Japanese suspects were caught. A police force led by deputy Metropolitan Police Bureau (MPB) chief Suthee Nanekanthee raided the apartment room on the seventh floor on Soi Ekamai 23 in Khlong Tan Nua area on Friday. The friends allegedly told police that a group of Japanese friends who were contractors might have abducted. The suspect was later taken to the apartment room, where the Japanese businessman was detained.
